New America Counts website released, with great new features
America Counts today launched a ground-up redesign of americacounts.us, making it easier than ever to understand how independent, people-powered election auditing works — and to take part.
What's new
A guided Start Here walkthrough takes newcomers from "what is a poll tape?" to making a plan for their next election in seven short steps. The homepage now shows live cumulative totals from every Actual Vote analysis to date, updating automatically as new reports publish.
Every published report is available in full, with the underlying recordings archived so anyone can re-run the comparison themselves. New per-state guidance explains how to access poll tapes where you live, and the site's methodology and findings are documented in plain language throughout.
Built to grow
The site is designed to keep itself current: as each audit cycle completes, its report — and this news feed — update on their own. More reports documenting past and upcoming elections are on the way.
