Ten of the 260 comparisons, opened all the way up: the poll-tape reading beside the official certified figure, and a citation to exactly where that figure sits in the county's own results file — so anyone can check it.
The main report states that every one of the 260 candidate-vote comparisons in this analysis matched the county’s certified results. Nobody has to take that on trust: the recordings are all in the public Actual Vote video archive and the figures are in Cobb County’s published results, so anyone can check the work. It is just slow, dull work that takes some practice — so this page does ten of them for you, in full, and every card links to the video it was read from.
Neither side has been retyped. On the left is the frame as it appears in the poll-tape video a volunteer recorded — the actual pixels. On the right is the figure Cobb County certified, with the exact path to it inside the county’s results file, so you can open that file and find the same number yourself.
How these ten were chosen. By a seeded random draw from the valid candidate-vote comparisons, not by hand, so the selection cannot flatter the outcome. They are a mix of the two ways a value is read in an Actual Vote analysis: most by AI transcription, and two that a human reviewer read from the video because the transcription declined to guess on a bowed or blurry stretch of tape. Where one frame carries a whole contest, the same frame appears against more than one candidate.
